Task

• Review existing trade surveillance scenarios to identify areas for improvement, updates, or refinements
• Write scripts and perform statistical analyses to detect patterns and determine optimal threshold settings
• Analyze and visualize data to support decisions related to scenario re-calibration
• Test and validate re-calibrated scenarios to ensure accurate results and minimize false positives
• Maintain thorough documentation of the re-calibration process, including analyses, test cases, and validation outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the scenario re-calibration process, proposing improvements where needed

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent education in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analytics or data science
• Banking experience with a focus on non-financial risk (e.g., Compliance, Risk Management, Legal)
• Ideally, hands-on experience in trade surveillance
• Proficiency in programming, particularly Python
• Strong database programming skills (e.g., SQL)
• Experience in project management or business analysis
• Fluency in English (main business language); additional languages are an asset
