About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Junior Frontend Developer to join our growing Data Platform development team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building clean, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces, have hands-on experience in front-end and UI development with a strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.

As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will work closely with UX designers, back-end developers, and senior engineers to build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React and modern front-end technologies for Kyriba Data Platform. Apart from developing and improving your software development skills, you’ll be able to get familiar with (or improve your knowledge of) other technologies, starting from Cloud Computing and ending by CI/CD pipelines. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career, develop your programming skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and understand the full software development life-cycle.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible front-end code
• Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality
• Consume RESTful APIs and handle client-side data management
• Work closely with product managers and software engineers to ensure the successful translation of UX concepts into high-performance components and to integrate design improvements into our platform
• Participate in all the development-related ceremonies (code reviews, SCRUM activities, grooming sessions, etc).
• Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of development tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Final-year or recently graduated student in computer science, software engineering, or related field with a focus on UX, UI, or front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Javascript/Typescript, CSS/styled-components, and Figma
• Knowledge of functional react components life-cycle with hooks and state management (states and reducers)
• Familiarity with git, package managers (npm, yarn) and simple build tools
• Understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility
• Problem-solver with analytical thinking and strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and improve through feedback
