  • You will be responsible for the PLC software engineering of our international projects.
  • You will act as an engineer for an international software and commissioning team.
  • You will ensure the realization of software projects within the planned cost, quality and time frame.
  • You will support the quotation managers in the calculation of project-related software adaptations and project implementations.
  • Your main Tasks are:
    • Supporting the projects through project-specific standard development, software implementation, and commissioning.
    • Responsibility for the application and development of our software library and internal engineering tool chain.
    • Within the projects, creating specifications for project-specific standard development, software implementation, and commissioning.
    • During the design phase of a project, describing the planned software functionality and coordinating interfaces with third parties.
    • Responsibility for commissioning at the customer site according to our standards, from integration to customer acceptance.
    • Using your expertise during commissioning to provide feedback for the engineering phase of projects.
    • You hold a Degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Extensive experience in leading teams in PLC software development, project engineering, and commissioning of automation systems.
    • Experience in managing software automation projects, particularly in the logistics sector or alternatively in industrial automation.
    • You have expert knowledge of software development with SIMATIC TIA and software architecture.
    • Extensive experience in commissioning and excellent knowledge of the SIMATIC hardware product range, especially PLC S7-TIA.
    • Knowledge of failsafe programming is also very strong.
    • You are familiar with common bus systems such as Ethernet, Profinet, AS-I Bus, and CAN Bus.
    • Teamwork, intercultural competence, reliability, independence and the willingness to travel worldwide.
    • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required, German is a plus.
