Pineca is a leading online brand of prefabricated wooden houses and garden buildings operating across 9 EU markets.

Our main activity is online business-to-customer retail of prefabricated wooden buildings: residential houses, garden buildings, garages, and carports. As we are a digital-first company, organic visibility, and lead generation is an extremely important part of our business.

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work closely with our Head of IT and Tech Lead to develop and implement cutting-edge software solutions across various platforms for diverse markets, including the UK, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

What we expect you to do:

• Be part of a self-managed cross-functional agile team.
• Write code for new systems but also support the currently existing ones.
• Use your technical skills to develop solutions that create value and contribute to our business goals.
• Design and implement new and existing features.
• Participate in team technical discussions.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Proven record of previous experience in system development/ (3+ years of practical experience)
• Professional expertise and hands-on experience with programming languages: PHP, Typescript, MySQL.
• Experience with web development frameworks like Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience with PHPUnit.
• Take ownership and have the ability to plan, execute independently
• Value-creation-oriented mindset is something that we appreciate.
• Being passionate, proactive, self-motivated, innovative, and constantly hungry for knowledge but pragmatic enough to put first things first.
• Being able to work with React (would be a great advantage).
• Expertise in infrastructure management (Docker, AWS, Gitlab CI/CD) (would be a great advantage).
