We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to design, develop, and maintain our product websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in WordPress development, with proficiency in using Elementor, as well as a deep understanding of hooks, actions, and filters.

As part of our small, dynamic, and efficient team, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our scaling efforts and make a direct impact on our development process.

Main Responsibilities

Front-End Development (70% of the time)

• Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Work closely with the design team to translate design mockups into fully functional web pages.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues and provide technical support.

Back-End/Plugin Development (30% of the time)

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins as needed.
• Create custom post types, taxonomies, and fields.
• Work with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
• Collaborate with the team on integration with third-party services and APIs.
• Ensure code quality, scalability.

Core Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress development (at least 3 years).
• Proficiency with Elementor and its ecosystem, including addons and extensions.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong experience with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
• Experience with PHP and familiarity with WordPress core functions and architecture.
• Ability to build and modify WordPress themes and templates.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., BitBucket).
• Basic understanding of MySQL and database queries.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication skills and ability to work closely with a team.
