This posting will be used to fill 1 term full-time position working 75 bi-weekly from September 3, 2025 to March 31, 2027. It will establish a 6-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon .

About Us

Integrated Health Services (IHS) uses inclusive and collaborative interdisciplinary approaches to provide person-centred health and wellness services. IHS develops and maintains partnerships that enable equitable access to high-quality, evidence-based, and integrated services that promote, protect and improve people’s health and wellness. IHS currently houses the Yukon Healthy Living Program, Centre de Santé Constellation Health Centre, the Dawson City Medical Clinic, the Whitehorse Walk-in Clinic, and the Yukon Midwifery Program.

Your role

The Manager, Project and Program Implementation provides leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of Integrated Health Services’ programming. The position is responsible for all aspects of project planning and implementation, and the development of the branch’s strategic objectives, policies, and practices, project implementation and program analytics to measure performance and develop program frameworks that respond to, or address, current and future branch, division, and department priorities and initiatives. The manager is responsible for all aspects of project planning and implementation including managing the project budget, contract management, procurement activities, contact and management of vendors, change management initiatives, and internal and external strategic communication.

The position is also responsible for the monitoring, analysis and reporting on both project and branch performance. The Manager conducts thorough analyses of issues and provides advice and expertise to the Director, and program managers on cross-branch and cross-division priorities and the branch’s position on key corporate planning and initiatives.

Important Application And Job Requirements

Essential qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Significant project management experience in a health and wellness context with the development and implementation of programs, initiatives, and strategic plans;
  • Experience in policy and evaluation framework development and implementation, including researching and making recommendations to senior leadership;
  • Experience collaborating and providing support to a wide range of stakeholders, including program managers, government departments, First Nations, and community agencies;
  • Experience leading and managing a health or wellness team, including planning and assigning workloads, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional development, is preferred
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is considered an asset .

  • Ability to manage complex projects with a broad range of clients and operational needs;
  • Well-developed research, analytical, and writing skills to summarize complex issues, discussions, and documents and to provide options and recommendations to senior management.

Conditions of employment

You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.

  • Current RCMP vulnerable sector clearance;
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence or equivalent
  • WHMIS 2015 (within 1 month of hire)

Job Requirements

This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:

  • The position regularly manages a number of different projects and must manage competing demands and priorities;
  • The position may be required to complete site visits to assess project progress and will be required to wear PPE and other safety compliance requirements;
  • Travel to locations within the Yukon to attend meetings may be required; a fleet vehicle would be provided.
