Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Objective

DBS Bank is looking for an Fullstack developer with experience working on enterprise level observability applications. The developer would be responsible for ensuring high availability of the platform/application services and monitoring and observability. The Full stack developer will work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions while optimizing performance and adhering to best practices in security and development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end component of web applications (Full stack development & maintenance)
  • Implement unit, integration, and automated testing to ensure code quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Working with a CI/CD pipeline (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube) and deployment tools such as Docker and OpenShift
  • Helping to investigate and resolve production issues to ensure minimal downtime and user impact as part of your On-call responsibilities to ensure we continue to provide service uptime and service availability
  • Ensure code and designs are in compliance with bank’s policies, follow specifications, coding best practices, prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Working with Agile teams using JIRA tool
  • Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and application
  • Working with highly collaborative teams and to build quality solutions
  • Open & willing to learning new technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Min 3-5 years of relevant IT work experience
  • Significant experience with Java, Spring Boot Framework and JavaScript (React/NodeJS)
  • Experience on Grafana, AppDynamics, Open Telemetry (OTEL), Kafka, Elastic stack (Elasticsearch/Fluentd/Kibana) will be preferred
  • Adequate knowledge of database systems (MariaDB), Liquibase (or other Automated Database management tools) and Object-Oriented Programming
  • Experience in application running in OpenShift will be preferred
  • Good to have DevOps CI/CD pipelines experience
  • Knowledge in AI/ML capabilitiescould be a plus
