Contract - Backend Developer (Java)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our team in Argentina.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Design, develop and implement scalable and secure RESTful APIs
• Integrate and manage microservices using OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
• Participate in the design of software architectures, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of applications
• Develop unit, integration and performance tests for APIs
• Configure and manage the developed APIs in OpenShift
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure continuous and efficient deployment of applications
• Work closely with other development teams to ensure integration of APIs with other applications and services
• Track and optimize performance of deployed APIs and services
• Ensure APIs comply with security standards and industry best practices
  
  
  

Workplace Hybrid position (Candidate must be willing to commute to the office 2 times a week)

Must Have Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in API development (RESTful) or GraphQL
• Knowledge in microservices and related architecture patterns
• Strong knowledge and experience in Java 17 development for API creation and Spring Boot
• Knowledge in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Knowledge in Docker for container creation and management
• Experience using Git repositories
• Familiarity with OpenAPI (Swagger) for API documentation
• Knowledge of API security, including authentication, authorization and token management (OAuth2, JWT)
• Knowledge in relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MongoDB)
• Ability to work in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and propose efficient solutions
