Job Description

A Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting an organization’s computer systems, networks, and data from security breaches, cyberattacks, and unauthorized access.

  • This role includes risk assessment, system monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
  • Configure and maintain security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems).
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
