Role and responsibilities


You will be part of an area that takes care of Artificial Intelligence.


As a Data Scientist, you will work for customers and internal research departments on complex and innovative projects about genAI, NLP, demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, computer vision, and lots more, in various fields and sectors.

You will focus on solving complex problems: translating requirements into actionable rules and

deliverables.


You will be responsible for:

● Analyzing business needs and suggest the most effective technical approach to meet them.

● Performing EDA around a great amount of heterogeneous data and trigger and driving the discussion among DS team members.

● Leveraging the application of advanced statistical methods, implementing the solution and delegating tasks to Junior DS team members maintaining the main responsibility on the final solution quality.

● Validating statistical models focusing on their explainability and ability to generalize.

● Preparing and presenting technical and non-technical reports to detail the final solution, being able to adapt the story telling based on interlocutors’ level.

● Staying informed about updates in Data Science and related fields, proposing new ideas and participating in pre-sales activities.

● Being a mentor for Junior Data Scientists.


Required Skills🛹

● Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience

● Have significant experience (2+ years) applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data and presenting final results; as well as a deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings

● Have a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in quantitative fields such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Engineering with excellent grades

● Be proficient in Python

● Be fluent in Italian and proficient in English


It would be appreciated if you have:

● Experience with genAI projects, document understanding and virtual assistance;

● Knowledge of Cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP)
