Junior Data Analyst

Overall, we operate one of the largest big-data environments in the Baltics, and we certainly have one of the most diverse sets of data and pursue some of the most challenging analytical projects.

Exacaster’s team is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Queens team.

About the role:

You would join the squad in the Client Tribe and will become a part of the team working with an important USA client operating in the Telecom Industry. The team’s main purpose is to generate meaningful business insights & recommendations in understandable format with data science decisions.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Data extraction by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data for subsequent analysis steps.
• Deep dive into users’ behaviour trends and patterns to uncover valuable insights.
• Exploration and validation of new potential data sources.
• Formulation and hypothesis testing using statistical significance assessment.
• Data driven recommendations on weekly calls with stakeholders.
• Close and daily collaboration with a peer storyteller colleague to transform the prepared data into data stories.
• Constant cooperation with other teams working on the same client, sharing any discrepancies found in data and staying informed about new processes implemented.
  
  
  

We are looking for a person who has:

• At least 1 year of experience working with big data.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings clearly and concisely.
• Team player attitude.
• High attention to details.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Capability to learn new skills & technologies quickly.
  
  
  

Nice to have skills:

• Experience in Telco industry.
• Knowledge with Python.
• Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket, Snowflake, AWS, PostgreSQL/RedShift, Tableau, Looker.
