Job Title: Automotive Functional Safety Engineer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Language requirement: English & Swedish

Experience range: 8+ years

Must have skills:

• Strong experience in Implementiong Functional Safety compliant Software.
• Working Knowledge and Hands-on ISO26262 Standard. (Minimum ASIL B required ; Preferable ASIL C/D)
• Knowledge on FMEA, FTA and DRBFM Experience in embedded software development in automotive domain.
• Knowledge of failure handling in SW solutions of automotive systems.
• Knowledge regarding product engineering processes (component development, SW-development, calibration) Requirements management Tools (DOORS, Polariton, PTC, IBM, etc.)

Good to have skills:

• Exposure to automotive Industry with know-how of vehicle electronics\
• Embedded SW Development experience
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR Software development methods
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity ISO21434
• Knowledge of Automative CAN communication protocol
• Should have well developed analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Experience of Control Systems in Automotive Industry.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

1. Derivation of Technical Safety Requirements (TSR) based on confirmed Functional Safety Requirements (FSR), their superior Safety Goals (SG) and dedicated level of integrity (ASIL).
2. Allocation of safety-relevant requirements (TSR) to development domains, e.g. hardware, software, calibration.
3. Development of Functional (FSC) and Technical Safety Concepts (TSC)
4. FMEA, FTA .
