Hands on years backend development experience preferably in distributed microservices environments
Strong expertise in NodeJS TypeScript and ExpressJS mandatory
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL
Handson experience using LangChain to interface with LLMs mandatory
Proven experience with LLM prompt engineering and finetuning mandatory
Basic to intermediate experience in Python for AIML tasks
Familiarity with Git Docker and CICD pipelines
Experience with at least one cloud provider Google Cloud preferred AWS acceptable
Understanding of microservice architectures
Ability to write and maintain comprehensive tests for backend systems
Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration and working across time zones
Nice to have:
Experience with Terraform
Familiarity with CircleCI
PHP knowledge is a plus not mandatory
Prior experience integrating thirdparty AI vendors
Background in media publishing or newsroom technology is advantageous
