DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive DevOps Engineer / Cloud Automation Engineer with strong experience in AWS and software automation to join our engineering team. You will be instrumental in building, enhancing, and maintaining full-stack infrastructure automation for enterprise-scale applications in a public cloud environment. This role emphasizes cloud-native development, CI/CD practices, and GitOps methodologies to streamline operations and improve engineering productivity.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and DevOps, including at least 3 years of automation and software development using Python, NodeJS, and TypeScript. You will have a strong grasp of cloud infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools like CodeBuild, Jenkins, and CodeDeploy. A Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset, proficiency in observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Catchpoint, Dynatrace), and a passion for automation, troubleshooting, and operational excellence are essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and extend Full Stack infrastructure automations for enterprise and business applications in the enterprise cloud environment by leveraging Python, NodeJs, CI/CD and GitOps Methodologies etc.
• Configure and implement the public cloud environment for enterprise and business applications.
• Refactor and migrate business applications to adopt Platform strategy to increase Engineering Productivity
• Troubleshooting and solutioning of issues in the AWS environment. 24x7 OnCall rotation
• Design and build automation solutions to reduce manual efforts and increase team efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience on AWS & DevOps
• 3 years of Hands-on experience in Software development and Automation using Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, Rest API, GitOps, etc.
• Working knowledge on setting up cloud infra using terraforms, cloud formation templates and/or CDK
• Expert knowledge with CI/CD tools like Code Build, Code Deploy, Jenkins.
• Expert Knowledge with observability and logging tools/services (ie Splunk, Catchpoint, Dynatrace, etc)
• Good knowledge on developing automations on using Python, PowerShell, TypeScript, etc.
• Hands-on experience with the AWS Cloud Services (i.e. EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3 Bucket, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch etc.)
• Hands-on Experience on Linux is a plus
• API Development experience with Java and/or NodeJS is a plus
• Attention to detail and dedication to Quality, Automation
• Should have SRE mindset

Salary budget up to 6600 SGD
