What You’ll Own:
You’ll be the AI/ R&D Expert powering our innovation in grid stability, intelligent control, and simulation tech — from vision to implementation. You’ll drive deep research, prototype breakthrough algorithms, and embed AI into critical power system or energy infrastructure.
What you will do:
- Lead from the Front: Shape the roadmap for simulation and control strategies across new power systems and microgrids. Your vision will steer our system-level breakthroughs.
- Architect the Future Grid: Own the design and development of grid stability algorithms, protection strategies, and intelligent control systems — and deliver N+X innovation advantage.
- Fuse AI + Power Systems: Champion the integration of AI for dynamic stability analysis, simulation-driven optimization, and predictive control models.
- Engineer with Precision: Optimize for performance, safety, and reliability while stress-testing models through rigorous risk validation and verification.
What You Bring:
- PhD or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or related field.
- 5+ years in renewable energy, grid systems, or power system R&D.
- Proven expertise designing advanced control algorithms and grid intelligence systems; experience in deploying AI in real-world energy applications a major plus.
- Deep knowledge of grid architecture: source-network-load-storage, comms, coordination control, protection & monitoring.
- Skilled in simulation platforms: PSSE, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, RTLAB, MATLAB — plus a strong foundation in power electronics and algorithm engineering.
- Visionary mindset, collaborative, multicultural communicator with sharp storytelling and stakeholder influence.
