Job Title: IT Security Engineer

Job Duration: 12 months contract with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Morgan McKinley is seeking an IT Security Engineer for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and enhance current security controls.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including technical presentations and incident reports.
• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other tools.
• Analyze security incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Respond to incidents following established procedures and support forensic investigations.
• Work cross-functionally to implement security measures and mitigate risks.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and prepare security reports for clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Security or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in security domains such as Risk Management, Asset Security, and Network Security.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise security implementations and virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of cloud/system security and software development operations is a plus.
