Analyst - BI

What You’ll Do

This is an individual contributor role focused on driving analytics and BI projects. The individual will work closely with business teams to understand their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. This position requires collaboration with various business teams and IT to achieve the desired results. The role involves taking overall ownership of analyzing business data and developing analytics solutions that provide valuable insights.

"*Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs, establish and document requirements, and create reports and dashboards using Power BI

• Continuously improve reporting and analytics processes and tools to align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Work closely with various business and IT teams to gather the necessary data and facts to meet reporting requirements.
• Take end-to-end ownership of reports and dashboards, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and driving cadence while defining KPIs with the business.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders, focusing on factors that drive business performance.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns using statistical methods from complex datasets.
• Build multi-dimensional data models in Power BI to support comprehensive analysis.
• Develop thorough documentation for algorithms, parameters, and models to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI models to validate their effectiveness.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data efficiently.
• Execute complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI, and create SQL queries and connections to enhance data analysis.
• Maintain premium workspace, manage dataflows, and handle Role-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure and efficient data management.
