Paychella, a Lithuanian-based electronic money institution (EMI) offering state-of-the-art payment technology on the European market and beyond, is founded by a team of enthusiasts with extensive experience in the industry. We are currently in the licensing process and aim to launch our first services in 2025.

About the job

We are searching for an experienced and passionate full-stack developer to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively on challenging projects, shaping the future of Paychella's payment technology. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work both remotely and on-site at our Vilnius, Lithuania office.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently or collaboratively towards assigned goals.
• Share knowledge and expertise of software best practices within the team and across departments.
• Participate in the architecture, design, and development of software products and components.
• Define the optimal technical solution and infrastructure for new features.
• Ensure the quality of delivered software.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development with proficiency in TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, and similar technologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Postman/Newman, Playwright).
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and DRY practices.
• Security-first mindset when developing software.
• Solid knowledge and experience with AWS (CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, ECS, Route53, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Lithuanian.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to internal initiatives.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-driven and organized with the ability to manage work independently.
• Lithuanian Resident (preferably based in Vilnius).

Plus:

• Familiarity with fintech and payment processing.
• Experience with PCI-DSS.
• Any IT security qualification.
