Freelance Senior Data Product Manager – Mechelen (Until End of 2025)

We’re seeking a freelance Senior Data Product Manager to join a leading data team based in Mechelen. In this role, you'll help develop high-impact data products that enable smarter, data-driven decisions across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the data product roadmap with a strong focus on business value
• Translate stakeholder needs into scalable, user-friendly data solutions
• Collaborate closely with business, IT, and architecture teams
• Promote data literacy and best practices within the wider data community
• Mentor junior team members
• Align with the Product Owner on priorities and delivery

Ideal Profile:

• Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in data roles (e.g. BI, analytics, functional analysis)
• Strong experience with data modelling, business processes, and stakeholder management
• Proficient in SQL; experience with Snowflake/cloud tech is a plus
• Skilled communicator, fluent in English and Dutch or French
• Agile experience required
