Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Lisbon (preferably). Candidates in Portugal will be considered.

Paperweight.ai is a pioneering smart shelving solution powered by a paper-based sensor and enhanced with AI algorithms.

We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Python for backend and frontend frameworks like VueJS or React.
• Work with AWS cloud services, including Serverless architecture and AWS Lambda, to optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of frontend frameworks (VueJS, React, etc.).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with Serverless architecture and AWS Lambda.
• Understanding of Linux-based infrastructure and basic system operations.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols and time-series databases is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
