Senior Software Engineering Manager

Join a global health tech leader making a meaningful impact. My client is hiring a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead agile teams delivering large-scale data and analytics solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Java, Python, Spark/Scala, Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, and GenAI.

What you'll do:

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams (software, data, QA) across Ireland, India, and the US
• Own architecture decisions and ensure delivery of scalable, cloud-based solutions
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship
• Drive platform development, analytics, and ML/AI adoption
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders on strategy and execution

What you'll need:

• Proven leadership of Agile engineering teams
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, Spark/Scala, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka
• Experience deploying ML models and LLM-based apps
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud (AWS preferred), and big data
• Eligible to work in Ireland with hybrid work from Dublin or Letterkenny

Nice to have:

• SQL, graph databases, messaging systems, healthcare domain knowledge
