- About this role:
The Engineer (iOS) will report to the Engineering Team Lead. We’re on the lookout for a talented iOS developer — someone who’s curious, collaborative, and excited about building world-class mobile experiences.
You’ll join a close-knit team of mobile engineers and work alongside folks in Product, Data, QA, and Design. Together, you’ll help shape and deliver the next generation of our iOS apps, used by people all over the world.
We’re hands-on here, and this role is no different. You’ll be right in the thick of it — writing clean, scalable Swift code, contributing to architecture decisions, and helping us keep our tech standards high. You’ll also have a voice in how we improve our ways of working, and we’ll welcome your ideas on tools, frameworks, and best practices.
If you’re someone who loves solving problems, cares about users, and wants to be part of a team where your input matters — we’d love to hear from you.
- What we need you to do:
- Building out performant iOS applications using modern Apple technology
- Being part of a highly effective team using Kanban methodologies
- Work with exciting Apple technologies (SwifUI, Swift 6, UIKit)
- Participate in refactoring UIKit code to SwiftUI
- Be part of the whole lifecycle of a feature; from the idea to discussion with the business, delivery, releasing to production
- Belong to a team who are constantly thinking about efficiency through good practices
- Participate and be listened to on discussion about new features, refactor opportunities, team improvements, new techs etc.
- What we are looking for:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift.
- Experience refactoring from UIKit to SwiftUI in production applications.
- Strong team player skills
- Experience migrating from Combine / callback-based async logic to Swift concurrency (async/await, Task, structured concurrency).
- Experience in best practices in application development; including Agile Development, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development and SOLID principles
- Strong testing focus, be able to write "clean" and "well designed code”
- Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM & VIPER
- Someone who is not afraid of challenging projects and is open to looking at new ways to resolve them
- Strong verbal and written communication
Ding is committed to creating equal employment opportunities in the workplace. We know that experience looks different for everyone – if you believe your proven experience would suit this role and is what we are looking for we encourage you to apply.
