UI/UX Developer

Are you a Software Engineer with a passion for building intuitive user experiences and a keen eye for detail?

We're excited to partner with a top financial institution to find a proactive and analytical individual to join their Asset Finance team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact, influencing both the technical direction and user experience of our innovative solutions.

Please note this is a 6 months contract role.

The Role

• You'll be a vital part of defining and refining the user journey, Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the user journey.
• Participate in UX & UI application design and architecture reviews.
• Developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Working closely with business stakeholders and third-party dealers to understand their workflows and verbally describe solutions, ensuring the product meets their practical needs and improves their experience.
• Working closely with design, taking Figma designs and given CSS definitions to rapidly develop and implement front-end solutions using Angular.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Contribute to technical discussions and solution design sessions, proactively identifying potential technical debt and proposing innovative solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong proficiency in Angular.
• Demonstrable experience with UX/CX principles and design tools like Figma.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, user-friendly solutions.
• A proactive attitude and a desire to contribute to all aspects of product development.
• Previous experience within the financial industry is a plus.
