Crypto Communications Account Manager

Our client is a strategic communications advisory firm working with C-level executives at high-growth startups, top VCs, and Fortune 500 companies globally. They specialize in fintech, sustainability, deeptech, Web3, and B2B enterprise.

We’re seeking an experienced Account Manager for their Dublin office, ideally with crypto/blockchain/Web3 expertise. You’ll lead daily account operations, craft strategies, manage client communications, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of crypto/Web3 client accounts
• Develop and execute communications strategies aligned with sector trends
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders, including legal and investor teams
• Secure media placements in top crypto and tech outlets (CoinDesk, Bloomberg, WSJ, etc.)
• Leverage media and event relationships in the crypto space
• Track media trends and regulatory developments to shape messaging
• Mentor junior staff and oversee high-quality execution
• Lead client calls, reporting, and ensure transparent communication
• Translate complex blockchain/DeFi concepts into compelling content
• Draft press releases, op-eds, thought leadership, and speaking proposals
• Support major announcements like funding rounds and platform launches

Requirements

• 4+ years in PR or communications, agency or in-house, with Web3/crypto experience
• Proven track record securing top-tier media coverage in crypto/tech
• Strong writing, storytelling, leadership, and team management skills
• Deep knowledge of blockchain, DeFi, DAOs, NFTs, and evolving regulations
• Passion for emerging technologies and innovation

Bonus

• Experience winning new business pitches
• Familiarity with alternative communication formats (Substack, influencers, AMAs)
• Sector expertise in fintech, DeFi, or decentralized infrastructure
