We’re seeking a Mid-level or higher seniority Node.js Developer to join our client, an innovative company in the EdTech sector transforming how education is delivered. This is not a task-driven role; we’re looking for someone who is proactive, takes ownership, and actively contributes to the development of the product and overall direction of the tech.
Responsibilities:

- Actively engage in the development and evolution of the product — not just execute assigned tasks
- Work closely with the client and internal team to understand needs, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality code
- Maintain excellent communication with the US based client, including responsiveness across time zones
- React quickly and effectively to issues, bugs, and urgent requests as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, frontend developers, and QA engineers
- Primary Focus: Node.js (backend development)
- Secondary: Flutter (frontend)
- Nice to Have: Experience with Java or React (opens the door for involvement in other future projects)
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js development
- Experience working with Flutter (or willingness to learn/touch frontend when needed)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote team
- Based in the EU
- Willingness to occasionally adjust working hours to collaborate with a U.S. based team
- Fluent English language skills
