Pineca is a leading online brand of prefabricated wooden houses and garden buildings operating across 10 EU markets.

Our main activity is online business-to-customer retail of prefabricated wooden buildings: residential houses, garden buildings, garages, and carports. As we are a digital-first company, organic visibility and lead generation is an extremely important part of our business.

What are we looking for?

Currently, we are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team and work closely with our Tech Lead to develop and implement cutting-edge software solutions across various platforms for diverse markets.

What we expect you to do:

• Be part of a self managed cross functional agile team.
• Write code for new systems but also support the currently existing ones.
• Use your technical skills to develop solutions that create value and contribute to our business goals.
• Ability to define, own and defend architectural decisions.
• Own specific parts of the systems.
• Offer solutions on how to improve existing systems.
• Guide other team members.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Proven record of previous experience of system development/ (6+ years of practical experience).
• Professional expertise and hands-on experience with programming languages: PHP, Typescript, MySQL.
• Experience with web development frameworks like Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience with PHPUnit.
• Take ownership and have the ability to plan, execute independently
• Value-creation oriented mindset is something that we appreciate.
• Being passionate, proactive, self-motivated, innovative and constantly hungry for knowledge but pragmatic enough to put first things first.
• Being able to work with React (would be a great advantage).
• Expertise in infrastructure management (Docker, AWS, Gitlab CI/CD) (would be a great advantage).
