About The Role

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. It works across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing.

People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from app technology, to treasury and finance, to customer support.

We’re looking for an Operational Risk Manager to be a key member of our risk team in Revolut Bank . Working closely with the Head of Operational Risk and key stakeholders from all parts of the company, Risk has an exciting opportunity to see the whole picture and help everywhere.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the second line of defence (2LOD) in the identification, assessment, documentation, and regular review of IT, Cyber Security, Data, AI, and Resilience risks
• Providing oversight and guiding 1LOD in the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of IT, Cyber Security, Data, AI, and Resilience related controls
• Managing the development and implementation of frameworks, policies, controls, and training for IT, Cyber Security, Data Governance, AI, and Resilience risks
• Aligning risk management activities with industry best practices and standards
• Monitoring IT, Cyber Security, Data, AI and Resilience Risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
• Overseeing the investigation, root cause analysis and remediation of risk incidents, delivering risk incident reports to senior management
• Facilitating IT, Cyber Security, Data Governance, AI, and Resilience risk awareness and promoting a strong risk culture across employees
• Performing thematic reviews and risk deep dives as required
  
  

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience in Technology and Security Risk Oversight (2LoD), IT and Security Audit (3LoD), or Technology and Security Risk Assurance/Advisory in the Financial Services industry
• Demonstrable expertise in assessing and managing risks and controls related to technology infrastructure, applications, data security, cyber threats, and operational resilience.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and communication skills with proven ability in stakeholder management
• Excellent ability in management reporting, summarising complex matters for executive audiences
• The ability to work independently, manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities
• Experience with relevant EU Regulations, specifically DORA and AI Act
  
  

Nice to have

• Proficiency with SQL and ability to work with data
• A CISA, CRISC, CISM, or related certification
• CISSP and Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, or CCAK)
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or information security
• Knowledge of Information Technology and Security risk frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, ISO 22301 etc.
• Knowledge of IT and Security risk-based best practices
