The Director, Delivery (Europe) leads customer-centric consultative, outcome-based technical delivery of projects primarily, but not exclusively, across Europe. The position is responsible for managing a high-performing services team, driving life sciences customers’ success, and ensuring that every client achieves value through the adoption of ValGenesis’ solutions.

This role requires a strong background in SaaS implementation, life sciences regulations (GxP, FDA, EMA) namely in the areas of equipment qualification, validation (computer systems, cleaning, process, analytical methods) and CMC (process and analytical development), and the ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and complex customer programs across multiple European markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Delivery organization across Europe, supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device clients.
• Oversee and support customer implementations projects, ensuring successful ValGenesis solution adoption and scaling.
• Build and manage a regional team of project leads and business analysts.
• Collaborate with PMO, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management and Customer Technical Support to ensure value is delivered to clients.
• Establish and guarantee adherence to service delivery frameworks, project governance, and best practices tailored to regulated environments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, including IT, Process and Analytical Development, Qualification and Validation teams.
• Drive key metrics including time-to-value, client satisfaction, utilization, and revenue contribution.
• Participate in strategic account planning and executive engagement with clients across the region.
• Contribute to global Delivery leadership, aligning regional delivery with company-wide objectives.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Master degree in Lifesciences related field (Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.)
• 10+ years of experience in SaaS Delivery and/or technical leadership of equipment qualification, computer system validation, process and method validation, cleaning validation, process and analytical method development, from which 5+ years should be of hands on experience on CQV
• 5+ years of experience working directly with clients in the life sciences sector (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices).
• Strong knowledge of equipment qualification, validation and/or process development practices, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience leading and scaling services teams across multiple European markets in both hybrid and full remote working arrangements.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting sales and customer expansion strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe for key customer visits.
