What You'll Do

• Lead Checkout Development: Architect and develop a custom Magento checkout plugin with PHP (Symfony) and front-end technologies (React, JavaScript).
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, performant checkout experiences.
• Integrate Systems: Connect payment gateways, shipping modules, and third-party APIs securely and efficiently.
• Maintain Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Innovate Continuously: Stay current with Magento and front-end best practices to keep our platform cutting-edge.

Who You Are

• Experienced PHP Developer: 5+ years of professional PHP development experience with a strong background in Symfony or comparable modern PHP frameworks (knowledge of Magento 2 or WooCommerce is a big plus)
• Front-End Savvy: Familiar with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with solid knowledge of front-end architecture and building performant user interfaces.
• E-Commerce Enthusiast: Experienced with checkout flows, payment system integrations, and e-commerce best practices. Knowledge of WooCommerce is a plus.
• API Fluent: Familiar with REST and GraphQL APIs for smooth integration and data exchange.
• Security & Performance Focused: Strong understanding of Magento security, session management, and performance tuning.
• Collaborative & Proactive: You enjoy working in a team and aren’t afraid to ask questions or speak up with ideas.
• Growth Mindset: Always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
