Role Summary:

HCLTech is supporting our customer's migration from their existing on-premises SIEM solution to Microsoft's SIEM/SOAR solution in Azure, including Sentinel and Defender for Endpoint applications.

This specialization requires expertise in developing new content within Sentinel and Defender for Endpoint using Kusto Query Language (KQL).

In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating with existing security teams to develop, construct, and implement new detections and abuse cases within the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Sentinel applications.

Proficiency in CI/CD and Azure DevOps is essential as you will work closely with these tools to streamline deployment processes and enhance the efficiency of our operations.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• University/HBO thinking and working level and work experience within the IT Security field
• Proficient in KQL with proven experience in Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Knowledge of Microsoft365 security toolsets
• Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an advantage
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies, particularly in Azure and security-related areas
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python
• Writing scripts (parsers) to interpret the logging towards SIEM
• Excellent command of English language in both word and writing
