Back End Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems and services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB) to model, store, and retrieve data efficiently.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging issues.
• Follow secure coding practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., HIPAA if in healthcare).
• Contribute to design discussions and suggest improvements for architecture, design, and development processes.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in backend development using .NET Core / .NET 5/6+, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of Entity Framework / EF Core, LINQ, and ORM best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, etc.).
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
