Information Security Consultant

We are hiring for one of our major clients in Dubai for the below requirement.

Job Details:

Role: Information Security Consultant

Employment Type: 6 months contract, outsourced

Work Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 1-2 weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Consultant with 3-5 years of experience with a strong background in third-party risk management, information security governance (Policies/Procedures/SOPs), cloud security, and vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a third-party risk assessment and manage vendor security reviews.
• Develop, review, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on securing cloud-based platforms, IaaS, SaaS, e-commerce systems, and customer engagement tools.
• Lead and coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across eCommerce and backend IT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls (Governance & Technology) are effectively implemented.
• Lead tool-based security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulation campaigns to enhance employee vigilance and cyber hygiene.
• Stay updated with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field -Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, and data/cyber security standards applicable to the UAE and KSA.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and VAPT methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CEH, CCSP) are a plus.
• Experience in the retail or luxury industry is a plus.
