Senior Analyst Business Architecture

We are currently recruiting a Senior Analyst Business Architecture for our client, based out of their office in Dubai, UAE.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing and maintaining business architecture models that support the organization’s strategic goals. This role analyzes capabilities, processes, and value streams to provide expert guidance that drives transformation initiatives through collaborating closely with business and technology teams. Additionally, the Senior Business Architect ensures the quality, consistency, and alignment of architecture artefacts, translating strategy into actionable architectural plans that support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Define and model business capabilities, value streams, and process architectures in alignment with enterprise strategic objectives.
• Translate business strategy into capability roadmaps and target state models that inform solution and technology architecture.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between architecture and operational priorities
• Review High-Level Designs (HLDs), business models, and value stream maps on platforms such as Confluence, ADONIS and ADOIT
• Ensure consistency, traceability, and alignment between business requirements, architecture artefacts, and downstream solution designs.
• Provide quality assurance feedback to ensure architectural coherence across teams.
• Act as a business architecture lead on strategic transformation programs, ensuring initiatives align with capability and process design.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to bridge business objectives with enterprise and solution architecture direction.
• Offer architectural support to business case development and impact assessments
• Maintain high-quality business architecture artefacts within EA tools such as ADOIT and ADONIS.
• Ensure models are up to date, version-controlled, and consistent with enterprise architecture standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture modelling practices.
• Support solution delivery teams by ensuring architectural alignment and resolving escalations.
• Conduct capability-based assessments to identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities across business units.
• Recommend prioritization of capability enhancements to business leaders and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Support impact analysis for proposed business and technology changes.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience with Business Capability Models and Business Capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in business architecture deliverables is critical.
• 7-10 Years of Experience in the field
• Experience in modeling TOGAF Business Architecture in an EA Repository, ex. IBM System Architect, BOC ADONIS, ADOIT.

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certification

Please note: This is a 12-month contract role, with the possibility of extension depending on project continuity and individual performance.
