About The Role

Aquanow is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team and lead the development of our data analytics function. In this foundational role, you’ll be the primary analytics resource across the business, responsible for analyzing transaction data, developing dashboards, and delivering reports for departments including finance, compliance, and product.

This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, proactive, and eager to work hands-on in a fast-paced fintech environment. You’ll work closely with backend engineers to automate insights and build tools that enhance business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze transaction data from cryptocurrency trading, payments, and brokerage operations to produce actionable insights.
• Build and maintain analytics dashboards that deliver real-time data visualization to stakeholders and clients.
• Develop ad-hoc reports for business, compliance, and finance teams with a focus on accuracy and relevance.
• Partner with engineering teams to streamline and automate business and client reporting processes.
• Implement self-service analytics tools to empower internal users.
• Monitor reporting quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Identify data trends to inform product strategies and improve client engagement.
• Present complex data findings in a clear and effective manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics initiatives with broader business objectives.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in fintech or digital asset sectors.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with crypto trading and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Exposure to data governance and best practices in data management.
