Dotnet Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join a London-based technology team within a leading hedge fund or asset manager. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET (C#) and a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.

This role involves building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications with optional exposure to Blazor and DevExpress front-end technologies.

The successful candidate must have prior experience working within capital markets—preferably in a hedge fund or asset management setting—and bring domain expertise in one or more critical business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications for internal business users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Operations, Accounting, and Compliance.
• Contribute to solution architecture and best practices in code quality and maintainability.
• Help transition the team from full-time onsite work to a hybrid 3-day office model.

Core Requirements:

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with .NET / C#
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (preferably Blazor and DevExpress) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, finance-oriented environment

1. Treasury

• Margin management
• Financing cost analysis and optimization
• Handling of securities lending and locates

2. Operations

• Post-trade reconciliations
• Trade affirmations and allocations
• Break resolution and dispute management

3. Accounting

• Fund accounting
• Financial reporting for asset managers

4. Compliance

• Regulatory reporting systems
• Exposure to compliance workflows and monitoring tools
