Job role: Angular Front End Tech Developer & Lead

Location: Sydney

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Front End Technical Lead/Architect to join our team and take charge of designing and architecting the front-end framework for a new digital web application. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in the Angular framework and a proven track record of successfully leading a team of front-end engineers. Experience in assessing digital projects and estimating front-end work is essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of the front-end framework for the new digital web application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code.
• Drive the adoption of modern front-end technologies and frameworks, with a focus on Angular.
• Oversee the establishment of coding standards, tools, and platforms for efficient development and collaboration.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural and design principles.
• Assess digital projects and provide accurate estimates for front-end work.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability challenges.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the team and product at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Front End Technical Lead or Architect, with a focus on Angular framework.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of front-end engineers.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of other front-end frameworks and libraries such as React.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
