Backend Developer

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and building secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services using .NET Core and/or Node.js
• Developing and consuming RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to manage and structure critical data
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA engineers, product owners, and architects
• Contributing to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - from planning and development through to deployment and monitoring
• Building solutions in a cloud-native environment using Microsoft Azure, with a focus on scalability and performance
• Implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
• Supporting the move toward modern microservices architecture and event-driven systems

What We're Looking For:

• Strong commercial experience with .NET Core and/or Node.js
• Proven experience designing and working with REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Azure Functions, DevOps pipelines)
• Solid understanding of API security, performance tuning, and best practices in enterprise integration
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and Agile methodologies
• Experience working in industries with high regulatory or compliance standards (financial services or insurance is a plus)
