Software Engineer – Medical devices and Robotics

We are looking for a software engineer with a experience in medical devices and robotics to join a contract assignment with a client based in Switzerland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development for medical devices, with a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.

Previous experience working in robotics will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain software for medical devices and robotic systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications
• Implement and test software modules in C++
• Integrate software with hardware components, including microcontrollers and sensors
• Ensure compliance with medical device industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development for medical devices
• C/C++ programming
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Medical device industry standards and regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
• Hands-on experience with ROS
• Robotics manipulation algorithms, control theory, motion planning and computer vision experience highly regarded
