YOUR CHALLENGE AT WIRE

We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead a team of talented iOS Engineers working on Wire’s iOS app.

The Position Consists Of 3 Main Missions

• People Management: Developing your team skills to maximize their day-to-day impact over company’s KPIs, while aiming at making them autonomous.
• Scope Management: Mastering your team’s scope to understand what needs to be done and how to do it, to both fulfill today’s needs and anticipate tomorrow's challenges.
• Delivery Management: Ensuring your team’s work is matching expectations and quality standards, while being delivered in a smooth & efficient way.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide the right environment, assignments and support for each team member to progress in their career.
• Partner with product teams to define the team roadmap with high-level delivery strategies and iterative specifications, focusing on providing incremental value.
• Actively participate in and challenge technical decision-making to ensure solutions are scalable, flexible, reliable, and aligned with the organization’s standards.
• Along with Senior Engineers, drive initiatives to improve technical architecture and developer experience, ensuring these efforts are well-understood and supported by all stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance and refine internal workflows and processes in collaboration with external teams to enhance efficiency.
• Address challenges and conflicts as they arise, removing obstacles to enable your team’s success.
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years of professional experience in Engineering Management, leading high-performing teams and delivering impactful results.
• 7+ years of proven expertise in designing, building, and scaling mobile applications, with deep knowledge of mobile development principles.
• Knowledge of iOS technologies and Apple’s ecosystem is a big plus.
• Proficient in organizing, overseeing, and maintaining complex projects in high-throughput environments, ensuring timely delivery and stability.
• Demonstrated strength in People Management, with the ability to inspire a shared vision, drive team motivation, and lead organizational change.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Skilled in writing clear, well-documented procedures, and expressing ideas confidently and effectively in English.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
