Security Analyst

Our client is looking for a Security Analyst for an exciting contract role in Galway!

📍 Location: Galway

🗓️ Contract role

✅ Stamp 4 or EU Passport required

🏠 Hybrid working model: 3 weeks remote, 1 week onsite – perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years software engineering experience, with strong focus on Application/API Security
• Solid knowledge of API protocols and frameworks (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC)
• Expertise in Authentication & Authorization protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, JWT
• Familiarity with OWASP API Security Top 10 and secure coding practices
• Experience with API Security testing tools (DAST, AST) and runtime protection is a plus

What you’ll deliver:

• Lead API security solution deployment end-to-end
• Collaborate with dev, ops, and security teams for smooth integration
• Monitor and optimize platform security performance
• Help integrate API security into CI/CD pipelines
