ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

We want you to be a part of our team, from Ispra, as a Business Intelligence Expert (Life Cycle Assessment & Environmental Footprint).

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for environmental analysis.
• Design dashboards and reports for sustainability metrics.
• Conduct LCA studies and assess environmental footprints.
• Provide technical support for sustainability data interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with EU environmental policies.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• PhD in a relevant field (Environmental Science, Sustainability, etc.), with specialization in LCA and PEF methods.
• Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, or R for advanced data analysis and modeling.
• Extensive experience with LCA tools (SimaPro, OpenLCA, GaBi) and knowledge of ISO 14040/14044 standards.
• Familiarity with EU environmental regulations, specifically those related to PEF and OEF methodologies.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1 level)

• Technical documentation and sustainability assessments.
• Continuous improvement of data analytics workflows.

This role requires a combination of business intelligence expertise and sustainability knowledge to support data-driven environmental decision-making.
