About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Grovero, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the digital infrastructure of our product ecosystem. You'll be responsible for our mobile application, backend services, and cloud infrastructure; ensuring smooth communication between our app, cloud systems, and microfarm firmware.

We're looking for someone who’s proactive, curious, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced start-up environment.

What You'll Do 💻

• Lead and support the development of our mobile app (front-end and back-end)
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g. for user authentication, data storage, and analytics)
• Ensure reliable and efficient communication between the app and our firmware (e.g. sensors, actuators)
• Help scale our platform and make it robust, secure, and maintainable
• Collaborate closely with firmware and hardware teams to build seamless system integrations

What We’re Looking For 🎯

• 3+ years of experience as a full stack engineer / developer
• Proficiency with Dart and Flutter for cross-platform mobile development
• Solid knowledge of any of the following programming languages: Go, Python, TypeScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL (in Supabase)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean, AWS, or Azure
• Understanding of scalable, highly available architectures
• Residing in the Netherlands and able to commute to Amsterdam

Nice to Have 💡

• Experience with Supabase
• Knowledge of TypeScript for cloud automation scripts or utilities
• Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers and programming in C (STM32CubeMX framework)
• Understanding of IoT systems and their integration with cloud services
• Ability to set up and manage reliable backup systems
