Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data sources from internal and third-party platforms.
- Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to prepare datasets for modelling and reporting.
- Implement data validation, transformation, and monitoring logic.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency in a cloud environment.
- Ensure robust documentation and test coverage for all developed components.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer with a focus on data engineering.
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT development (Airflow, Prefect, Luigi, or similar).
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Solid knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation libraries.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data warehousing (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Previous experience working in product-led or SaaS environments.
- Background in data governance, GDPR, or security compliance.
