Product Designer

We’re looking for a user-focused designer to lead the full design process—from research to validation—improving both user experience and internal systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, champion design thinking, and drive meaningful UX improvements across the organization.

The team

UX

You will be joining our UX team which is decentralised. We have a Design Director, 5 UX designers, 2 UX Design leads, 2 UX Researchers, 2 UX writers, 2 Brand communication designers and a Design Systems Designer. With each designer embedded in a cross-functional product team, working closely with PMs and engineers. We stay connected through weekly design critiques, ending with a fun Kahoot quiz based on recent research insights.

Business Operations

The BizOps team focuses on improving internal tools and workflows across departments like Customer Support, Finance, and Sales. As a designer here, you'll work closely with internal users to streamline operations, design for efficiency, and occasionally support public-facing tools. It’s an ideal space for systems thinkers who enjoy solving real-world problems behind the scenes.

Your role and impact

• Take responsibility for the entire design process in your team, from initial research and discovery, ideation, conceptualisation and design to testing and validation of the solutions.
• Own and drive the performance and ergonomic metrics for systems you build. Be conscious of how your design solutions impact the user experience and the efficiency of our internal systems.
• Deeply understand the day-to-day operations of our internal teams, their goals and needs. Support the team with UX research and lead with user-centric design by absorbing internal customer feedback and insights received across all channels.
• Proactively identify opportunities for UX improvements in your domain, working in close collaboration with the product manager, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate design workshops together with colleagues from UX and other teams.
• Be an ambassador for design thinking and experience design towards internal stakeholders and teams.
  
  

Your profile

• At least 4 years of experience in the UX and service design fields, including experience of working in-house as a designer in a product company.
• Experience in working collaboratively across functions to create seamless user journeys. Ability to understand and analyse the journey in its entirety, how it interacts and integrates with other systems and services.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, understand and document their needs in a way that helps them translate their issues into opportunities and how they can achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Good understanding of both business needs and tech constraints, and reflecting this in your solutions.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• A portfolio featuring product design work. Examples of your work around designing complex internal systems (backoffice, admin interfaces etc.) is a plus.
