Portfolio Manager (Crypto / DeFi)

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead and optimize crypto investment strategies, with a focus on DeFi protocols and on-chain trading. This role involves managing diversified crypto portfolios, identifying alpha opportunities across both centralized and decentralized markets, and supporting the broader investment team with a performance-driven approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage crypto portfolios with a focus on risk-adjusted returns, capital allocation, and downside protection
• Execute trades on CEXs and DEXs, utilizing algorithmic strategies and smart contracts
• Develop and manage strategies across staking, lending, yield farming, and on-chain derivatives
• Conduct detailed research on tokenomics, market trends, and protocol fundamentals
• Implement risk frameworks to monitor exposure, drawdowns, liquidity, and counterparty risks
• Collaborate with compliance, research, and tech teams to ensure operational excellence
• Prepare regular performance updates and data dashboards for internal and client use
• Evaluate emerging DeFi products and Layer-2 technologies for strategic integration

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years in crypto trading, portfolio management, or DeFi investments, with a strong performance track record
• Deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure, tokenomics, and smart contracts
• Practical experience with DeFi protocols such as Aave, Curve, Uniswap, GMX, and Lido
• Proficiency with wallet management, EVM ecosystems, and on-chain analytics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to support high-stakes decision-making
• Awareness of crypto-specific risks (e.g. smart contract exploits, MEV, liquidity issues)
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic outlook
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or related field
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
