Your Crew

The Global Reporting, BI & AI position is located in our Center of Excellence in Lisbon. We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal.

Your Mission

• Lead the Roll-out of Power BI as Beyond Gravity’s (BG) new Reporting Tool, in collaboration with IT Analytics
• Support the collection, management, and analysis of financial and non-financial data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to the implementation of new global tools (Planning, Consolidation, etc)
• Operation & optimization
• Identifying opportunities to automate financial processes and reporting through AI technologies.
• Monitor, analyze and continuously optimize the performance, security and operational reliability of our data.
• Lead the development and expansion of company-wide BI solutions, including the design, modeling, and implementation of new reports and dashboards.
• Define and implement a strategic roadmap for global reporting, data, and AI initiatives, aligned with BG’s overall business objectives.
• Innovation & technology research
• Actively follow new developments in BI, data engineering and integrate suitable new approaches into our processes.
• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions to optimize reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements in AI to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Stakeholder management & collaboration
• Collaborate closely and trustfully with managers across all business areas to ensure alignment between technical initiatives and business goals.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, particularly with data teams, product leads, and key decision-makers, to advocate for data-driven initiatives.
  
  
  

Your Story:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in project accounting analysis, business controlling, reporting, controlling functions and responsibilities of advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in data science and AI implementation.
• 3 -5 years of experience of business control (preferably within similar industry interfacing customers in Project Delivery) and/or digitalization within finance.
• Profound understanding of accounting and reporting systems and analytics tools such as Microsoft Office (advanced in excel) and Power BI.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL).
• Knowledge in IT architecture and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is qualifying).
• Fluency in English written and spoken.
• Good communicative skills, ability to share knowledge and empower the organization will be of utmost importance.
• Proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills and decision-making.
• Thrive in a changing environment and able to adapt to changes and new demands persistently.
• Act as business partner, influencing force and self-driven mentality.
• You are people oriented and able to cooperate cross-functionally.
