Senior Software Engineer - Bluetooth (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Initially you will work closely with our teams in both Berlin and in North America as you come up to speed with our product and our way of working.
• You will take ownership of various aspects of the product developing features, maintaining modules, and working on new products. You will become the domain expert for the areas that you work on.
• You will regularly interact directly with customers with problems or issues they encounter and periodically on customer specific development projects.
• You will be involved in all aspects of the product life cycle from investigations, architecture, design, requirements analysis, development, testing, maintenance, and support. You will directly see your contributions to the team and to the product.
  
  

Your profile

For this position, we need someone with at least 7 years of relevant experience, excellent C/C++ coding skills and experience in a professional software development environment (with a degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering or in a related field). We need someone who has experience with Bluetooth protocol software and system software development (not just App development) and a variety of systems like Linux, Android, and Windows.

We’ll expect that you will be able to learn to work with a variety of programming languages and development tools on Linux, Android, and Windows.

It is critical that you to have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in order to handle the complex problems you will face each day.

We use Scrum for the management of our development activities so you will need to be comfortable working in an environment with iterative development, with high visibility into your work and accountability to the team.
