Senior Penetration Tester (Sweden/Nordics)

Location: Based in Sweden or the Nordic region (remote with occasional on-site in Stockholm)

Language required: Swedish (fluent) + English 

Security Clearance: Must be eligible for Swedish government-level security clearance 

About the Role: 

Cypro AB is expanding our cybersecurity team and is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Penetration Tester for a critical public sector assignment. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-trust, high-impact environments and want to work on national-level cybersecurity initiatives. 

You’ll be stepping into a strategic, hands-on role within our Red Team, helping assess, simulate, and improve the resilience of complex IT environments. 

Responsibilities 

• Conduct full-scope penetration tests, red/purple teaming, and security reviews 
• Produce high-quality technical and executive-level reports with actionable remediation guidance 
• Collaborate with Cypro’s cross-functional teams (Red, Blue, and White Team) 
• Follow industry’s best practices and ensure compliance with security protocols and standards 
• Occasionally work on-site in Stockholm for sensitive assignments 

What We’re Looking For: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and offensive security 
• Deep understanding of methodologies (e.g., OWASP, PTES), tools (Kali, Burp, Metasploit), and scripting 
• Strong written and verbal communication in Swedish 
• Must be eligible for Swedish security clearance (Säkerhetsprövning & registerkontroll) 

Preferred certifications:  

OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, or similar offensive security certs
