Field Technician

Saab is rapidly growing its global operations, and we're supporting them in their search for new colleagues to join their Support Engineering Group in Denmark. We’re looking for professionals with a solid foundation in IT and network technology who are eager to contribute to world-class communication systems for both civil and military customers worldwide.

The support department in Denmark plays a key role in the integration, deployment, and service support of complex communication systems around the globe. As a Support Engineer, you’ll work in a highly international environment, using cutting-edge technology to help keep people and societies safe.

Your responsibilities:

You’ll be part of a skilled and ambitious team delivering, commissioning, and supporting integrated communication solutions for high-demand customers around the world.

Your key tasks will include:

• Building, integrating, configuring, and testing project deliveries
• Commissioning systems at customer sites worldwide
• Troubleshooting and applying software updates
• Establishing secure networks and hardening IT platforms
• Documenting system configurations and delivery setups
• Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and clients globally

The role involves regular travel and a combination of work from the Netherlands (Den Helder) and France.

What we’re looking for:

Your profile:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical background
• Experience with Linux systems and network topologies is essential
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Accurate and structured in documentation
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Willing to travel and thrive in an international setting
