IT System Engineer

What You'll Do

Are you the person who makes sure our IT works - secure, scalable and smooth. Do you have various interests? Yes! From campus to cloud: as an IT System Engineer at iO, you are the driving force behind the tools and infrastructure that give our people wings.

As an IT System Engineer at iO , you will be continually optimizing and integrating our campus- and group IT environment, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You'll have the drive to provide an environment where all colleagues can work as efficiently as possible while keeping important aspects like security, reliability, and scalability in mind.

At iO, you'll help build an end-to-end story that revolves around digital communication and transformation. We support our clients with our expertise in strategy, creation, marketing, data, and technology that help them achieve their goals.

You won't just be joining our campus IT team. You'll become part of iO's International IT team - around 16 enthusiastic colleagues who, together as a team, ensure that all iO experts can use the necessary tools effectively.

What You Will Do

• You continuously optimise our IT environment: hardware, software and network
• You work within iO's international IT team - together with some 16 colleagues, you ensure that everyone, on every campus, can rely on stable systems
• You design, implement and migrate systems that are ready for tomorrow
• You ensure security and reliability in everything you do
• You ensure that tools and systems work together seamlessly
• You keep documentation in order and share knowledge with the team
  
  

Your Qualities And Skills As IT System Engineer (2)

• You have at least three years of experience as an IT System Engineer or in a similar role, ideally in an agency environment
• You have extensive knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Microsoft 365
• You have experience with system design and implementation, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• You're skilled in system integration, ensuring various components work seamlessly together
• Your troubleshooting skills are top-notch, allowing you to maintain and optimize IT systems for performance, availability, and security
• You can plan and execute system upgrades and migrations to align with changing business needs
• You understand the importance of security measures and compliance with industry standards
• You have experience developing disaster recovery plans and backup strategies
• You're a clear communicator who can maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports
• You communicate fluently in Dutch (both written and spoken) and have a good command of English
• You always look for the most suitable solution for each problem
